Bout of Books Day 6 ~ Evening Update

Another day behind us. :( It's a sad sad day. :) And damn, it's 11:11 and I JUST realized that my update said FRIDAY all day and not SATURDAY and I had messed up my overall one, thinking it was still Fri. I must need sleep! :)

Today I was in the mood to listen to my audiobooks. I had started the Lemony Snicket series, and they are quick to go through since they are shorter. Today I listened to 4 of them. :) Other than that, I just played a little of the game. Didn't do the challenge today, since it was Twitter based. It stinks that I'm not connecting with the Twitter readers, but Twitter just isn't for me, I write too much for it. :) I did some blog hopping today and watched the wonderful finale of NCIS.

So, here are my stats for this next to last day.

  1. Wow you listened to a lot of audio today. I only read book one in this series but I remember really enjoying it. Not sure why I never read further. Tomorrow I am going to attempt another audio book. I am not a huge fan of them but I think it's been about a year since I did my last one so what the hey... going to try it again.

    1. I never even attempted audio before the end of last year. It just wasn't anything that interested me. Then I decided I wanted to re-read The Night Circus and thought I'd try listening to it. The narrator, Jim Dale was AMAZING and I adored it so much. I found that he does Harry Potter, so I listened to all those next. Now, I love audio books. I find them helpful as well because I have a HORRIBLE time falling asleep. I can lay there for hours, tossing and turning because my brain won't shut off, but I found if I listen to audiobooks, my mind slows down, I can relax and it helps me fall asleep much much quicker, then I have a bonus of listening to a book. I love it now!
