A-Z Bookish Survey

I came across this survey recently through blog hopping, originally posted by Perpetual Page Turner and thought it would be a fun swap for my group at Swap-Bot called Carpe Librum.  Would love anyone's answers!  Love things like this!

Updated : 6/15 for the public A-Z Survey swap at Swap-Bot. From ~ ImzadiRose

AtoZsurvey

Author you’ve read the most books from:

According to GoodReads my Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb reads are the most
with a combined total of 83.  James Patterson is next at 50 books.
Want to find yours?  You can at GoodReads.  Go to ~
My Books ~ scroll down on left is Most Read Authors

Best Sequel Ever:

Game by Barry Lyga
This is the first one that popped into my head
of a book that is actually better the the
first book in the series, I Hunt Killers.

Currently Reading:

Currently I'm reading a book that isn't even on GR:
Blackout by Madeleine Henry

At night I am listening to:
Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Mountain Dew!  Sweet Tea sometimes too.  :)

E-reader or Physical Book?

E-reader.  I rarely read anything else.
Even my Audiobooks are through my Fire.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

Bailey from The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
or Fred or George from Harry Potter.  :)

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Outside my normal reads, this AMAZING book is
now one of my top 5 books ever!

Hidden Gem Book:

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Hmmmm, not sure.  I guess anytime I can recommend
a book, and the person who I recommended it to ends up
loving it, especially when that person is my hubby!  :)

Just Finished:

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

My horizons have been expanding!!  I've been reading all kinds of books
that I never thought that I would.  The books that I'm still staying away from,
and likely will never have any kind of interest in are :
Non-Fic, Religion/Spirituality, Western, Chick-Lit & tearjerkers

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Odyssey by William Shatner at 1072 pages.
Find out at GoodReads ~ My Books, Read books,
at the bottom options, choose Number Pages.

Major book hangover because of:

Number of Bookcases You Own:

None.  :(  I have my ghetto "shelves" that I made myself,
which are gonna collapse one day.  Luckily
OneDrive is full of books for my Fire.  :)

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

I'm not much of a re-reader.  I like to experience new books.
Probably the books I have re-read most are my Trixie Belden series,
especially my 3 or 4 favorites.  I have recently re-read all the
Harry Potters and The Night Circus by listening to them on Audio.

Preferred Place To Read:

My recliner.  It's the only place to sit,
except bed, which is sooooo uncomfortable!

Quote that you like, from a book you’ve read:

“I am tired of trying to hold things together that cannot be held.
Trying to control what cannot be controlled. I am tired of denying
myself what I want for fear of breaking things I cannot fix.
They will break no matter what we do.”
Erin Morgenstern, The Night Circus

Reading Regret:

Reading the Twilight and 50 Shades series!
Don't get me wrong, I LOOOOOVE good Erotica, especially BDSM Erotica,
but 50 was neither good nor BDSM. I can recommend much better!!

Series You Started And Need To Finish

(all books are out in series):

Griffin Powell series by Beverly Barton
Steele Street series by Tara Jensen
Callahan trilogy by Lora Leigh

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

My Hangover books!

Bonus for extras that you haven't already seen here ~

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Very Excited For This Release More Than Others:

Worst Bookish Habit:

Don't have one. Have been asked this question before,
have asked hubby if I have any, but I just don't.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of

your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Trixie Belden (book 15) ~ The Mystery on the Mississippi
Back cover reads ~ "Heavy feet mounted the steps... nearer... nearer... nearer.
A key was inserted into the lock.  It opened, and the man's bulk filled it.
The morning light shone full on his sneering, wicked face.
"Still alive, are you?"  he said, grinning maliciously.
Trixie looked hoplessly into Honey's eyes.
It may be the last time I'll ever see her, she thought.
The last time I ever see anyone I love."

  1. This is a great post! I pretty much only read on my Kindle, too. It's just way too convenient. I hope you're enjoying The Witness!

  3. I love this and I am going to do it on my blog. I will credit you for the heads up and link your home page. Your regrets would have been mine, too, except I only read three chapters of Twilight and ZERO of 50 Shades!! :)

    1. Thanks. :) Not too amazing really. I just love her stuff. I'm current on the main In Death books, that's 45, then I have read another 39 of just Nora's books.
