Hello all!
Here I am to wrap up a great year of books. I've seen a lot of people doing the same and the wrap-ups have been fun to read. Let's get into it.
Starting off my year, I was really into my video game, so I set my goal for the year low, at a jokey number between my hubby and I ~ 152. A little past mid year, I got back into my books, thanks to some GoodReads challenges, and increased my goal to 200. Once I passed that, I increased my goal again to 252, one hundred more than my original goal, and I left it there, despite passing it as well.

- 310 books Completed
- 204 were Kindle Books
- 106 were Audio Books
- 151 Different Authors
- 102 Women, 49 Men
- 107 New-to-Me Authors, accounting for 196 of books read
- 11 Re-reads (HP series, The Night Circus & 3 to re-start series)
- 56 Comics Completed
Since I've already posted a bunch of the "Best of", I'm not going to post my top books here. Instead, you'll see them again during my upcoming posts for the 2014 Best Books Bracket Challenge.
I only started blogging in March, so I hadn't joined any of the year long challenges, except the one I just mentioned. From the challenges I've been seeing for 2015 though, I doubt I'll join many year long ones, and the ones I have are just about reading as many as you can (both my GoodReads year challenge, another 200+ books challenge and the audiobooks challenge).
I do love the smaller events, with the read-a-thons. I have joined in both Dewey's and Bout of Books, and a few smaller events. All my read-a-thons have been great successes for me, and I loved meeting people during them. They were so much fun, and I look forward to more. Here's what my read-a-thons looked like ~

- I completed 7 comics
- I read 5,117 pages (not including comics)
- I completed 10 novels, 3 novellas & 1 short story on my Kindle Fire
- I listened to 5 novels & 1 novella as audiobooks

- I read for 18 Hours & 30 Minutes
- I completed 8 books
- I read 1,450 pages
